Shared Health is the largest employer of diagnostic professionals in the province. The diagnostic services team includes over 1,500 lab, imaging, medical and support staff who work together to provide important test results to Manitobans.

Unified by a single vision and common goals, Shared Health’s laboratory and imaging sites work together to support a province-wide service-delivery model. Each sites is a point of access to a full range of diagnostic services.

PRAIRIE MOUNTAIN HEALTH

More than 150 staff members support lab and imaging services in 29 sites: Baldur, Birtle, Boissevain, Carberry, Deloraine, Erickson, Glenboro, Hamiota, Killarney, Melita, Minnedosa, Neepawa, Reston, Rivers, Rossburn, Russell, Shoal Lake, Souris, Treherne, Virden, Benito, Dauphin, Grandview, McCreary, Roblin, Ste. Rose, Swan River and Winnipegosis and Wawanesa.

PRAIRIE MOUNTAIN HEALTH – CITY OF BRANDON (BRANDON REGION)

More than 140 staff support laboratory services at Westman Laboratory, located within the Brandon Regional Health Centre

NORTHERN RHA

Approximately 70 staff support lab and diagnostic imaging services in seven facilities: Thompson General Hospital, Gillam Hospital, Leaf Rapids Health Centre, The Pas Health Complex, Flin Flon Hospital, Snow Lake Medical Nursing Unit and Lynn Lake District Hospital.

SOUTHERN HEALTH-SANTÉ-SUD RHA

Approximately 160 staff support lab and diagnostic imaging services in 16 facilities: Bethesda Hospital, DeSalaberry District Health Center, Ste. Anne Hospital and Vita District Health Centre, Altona, Boundary Trails Health Centre, Carman, Crystal City, Emerson, Gladstone, Manitou, Morris, Notre Dame, Portage la Prairie, St. Claude and Swan Lake

WINNIPEG RHA – CHURCHILL REGION

Shared Health diagnostic services lab and imaging centre is located in the Town Centre Complex, which houses the hospital and other health services.

INTERLAKE-EASTERN RHA

More than 110 diagnostic professionals support  lab and imaging services offered at sites in 13 communities: Arborg, Ashern, Eriksdale, Gimli, Selkirk, Stonewall, Beausejour, Pinawa, Powerview/Pine Falls, Lac du Bonnet, Whitemouth and Oakbank and Teulon.

 

WINNIPEG RHA – CITY OF WINNIPEG (WINNIPEG REGION)

Shared Health diagnostic services operates diagnostic laboratories in each of the city’s reference and community hospitals, totaling 11 labs and more than 700 Winnipeg employees: Health Sciences Centre, St. Boniface General Hospital, Concordia Hospital, Grace Hospital, Misericordia Health Centre, Seven Oaks General Hospital, Victoria General Hospital, Deer Lodge Health Centre, St. Amant Centre, Riverview Health Centre and Mount Carmel Clinic.
